Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including patching, performance tuning, and security hardening
Manage and support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, OneDrive)
Oversee Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related identity management functions
Deploy and manage virtualized environments using Hyper-V and/or Azure Virtual Machines
Assist with cloud resource configuration and governance within Microsoft Azure
Support end-user systems and mobile device management through Intune or similar tools
Perform routine system monitoring, backup validation, and disaster recovery testing
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams on security, networking, and application initiatives
Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex technical issues
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in systems administration or IT infrastructure roles
Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory
Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, firewalls)
Demonstrated ability to manage patching, monitoring, and security compliance
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Preferred
Microsoft certifications such as MCSA, MS-102, AZ-104, or equivalent experience
Experience with hybrid identity (Azure AD Connect, Entra ID)
Familiarity with backup and recovery tools (Veeam, Azure Backup)
Exposure to ITIL practices or structured service management
