The role involves providing engineering and technical integration support across various SE&I assignments to meet NASA customer expectations.

Responsibilities
Engineering design and development practices
Preparation of basic design documentation
Assist higher level engineers in technical evaluations, engineering calculations, and requirements reviews
Development of basic requirements in support of projects assigned
Receive guidance and mentorship on conventional/basic SE&I engineering tasks
Responsible for end-to-end technical integration of requirements through the product lifecycle with guidance from SE&I Process Leads
Responsible to review, impact, control and document any requirements changes
Lead multifaceted (multidisciplinary) engineering projects and assigns tasks to peers through the project lifecycle as appropriate
Communication at internal and external project meetings
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in engineering or a technical equivalent from an accredited institution
Demonstrate fundamental working knowledge in engineering product release and document maintenance
If offered a position, proof of U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident/Green Card holder of the United States is required
Must be able to accurately communicate ideas in writing and verbal communication
Must be able to travel to support position requirements. This may include travel to and from customer location, which may involve airline travel
Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others
Must comply with all 'drug free workplace' requirements as mandated by directives issued by the appropriate federal contracting officer and the company, which requires drug testing for use of illegal drugs by employees in sensitive positions
Government security clearance may be required in the future
Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that fosters good relations with customers, clients, co-workers, and management
