Responsibilities
Install, program and configure commercial electronic security systems for enterprise commercial clients (door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low voltage communication, electronic locks, point sensors, signaling devices, et cetera)
Troubleshoot new security installations to ensure the systems are functioning properly and satisfy codes
Run electrical wiring; related activities include drilling, trenching, and aerial runs
Responsible for the connection of control panels, application requirements, wire concealment and security software installation
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent
The ability to obtain a JLA (Jessica Lunsford Act) badge
3+ years of field experience in installing and programming Access Control: AMAG, Genetec, Lenel
3+ years of field experience in installing and programming Video Management: Axis, Avigilon
3+ years of field experience in installing and programming Intrusion Detection: DMP, Bosch
3+ years of field experience in installing and programming Fire Systems: Notifier, Fire Lite, Silent Knight
Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with various external customers including government, military, and contractor personnel at all levels
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the company
Exhibit professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation and enhances productivity in the workplace
Well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
Employment is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining required certifications or licenses through the duration of the project or contract
