Administrative Coordinator - Summer Camp

Camp Korey is a camp for kids with life-altering medical conditions, providing a joyful and safe environment. The Administrative Coordinator will manage office operations and support the leadership team, ensuring smooth communication and administrative tasks throughout the camp experience.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for all office-related tasks and administrative support for the leadership team
Maintain accurate schedules, including staff shifts, breaks, and activity rotations
Create, format, and print materials needed for programming, training, and administrative purposes
Manage and organize digital files, forms, rosters, and other camp documents
Serve as the front-line host, welcoming families, staff, and visitors, and providing guidance throughout their time at camp
Ensure smooth communication between leadership, program staff, cabin life staff, and other departments
Monitor office supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed
Support check-in/check-out procedures, registration paperwork, and other administrative processes
Assist in compiling reports, data, and documentation required by leadership
Troubleshoot administrative challenges and provide proactive solutions to keep camp operations running efficiently
Participate in meetings and relay updates or critical information between departments as needed

Required

Commit to the entire length of the contract term: JUNE 18–AUGUST 16 2026
Prior experience supervising or mentoring peers or youth-serving staff
Experience working with children, families, or individuals with life-altering medical conditions
Joy in being silly! You'll join cheers, dances, songs, and the playful spirit of camp
Ability to “go with the flow” in schedule, people, and program changes
Willingness to embrace challenging moments, grow through them, and stay open to learning
Ability to learn and use necessary computer software (equivalent of social media)
A continuous improvement mindset to the services provided and your own growth
Physical ability to sustain 10+ hour days of activities, functional ability to clean and participate in activities
Immunization history with current vaccines and boosters including COVID
Must obtain CPR/AED certification within first week of employment (can be provided)
Acceptable background check clearance
Minimum Age of 21 is required

Preferred

Camp experience! Especially leadership or supervisory experience! Even better if it was at a SeriousFun or other specialized camp
Life or professional experience with children ages 4–17
Life or professional experience with individuals with life-altering or complex medical conditions
Communication capability in multiple languages
CPR / AED Certification
