Clinical Psychologist - Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Responsibilities
Conducting diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning for newly referred patients
Provision of individual and group psychotherapy
Collaboration with physicians and other multidisciplinary staff for direct patient care
Collection of outcome data related to clinical care
Engagement in community outreach
Participation in departmental meetings and activities
Participation in training, supervision, and consultation activities
Maintaining charts on all clients in accordance with Quality Assurance policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical psychology from an APA-approved graduate program
Individuals with experience maintaining a clinical role in a child and adolescent outpatient practice
Trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)
License-eligible in the State of Connecticut
Capability of working collaboratively with and around physicians and other healthcare providers
Flexibility with schedule and work-place settings
Demonstrated commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork
Demonstrated cultural competency working with diverse cultures and communities
