Responsibilities
Work across the full lifecycle of private investment funds and related vehicles
Advise on structuring and fundraising for funds spanning private equity, venture capital, real estate, and other asset classes
Support institutional investors on commitments to premier private funds
Review and spot issues in fund documents for institutional clients
Negotiate side letters and ancillary agreements
Draft private fund formation materials
Qualification
Required
Junior to mid-level associate (2–5 years) experience
Candidates must hold a JD
Prior experience in a law firm
Admission to the California Bar (or willingness to obtain it promptly) is required
Preferred
Exposure to investment-management M&A or strategic transactions is advantageous, but not required
