Pension Plan Administrator
Ingenuity Staffing is partnering with a well-established retirement services provider seeking a skilled Pension Plan Administrator to support the administration and compliance of Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit plans. The role involves managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing support to clients and participants.
Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of DC/DB plans in full accordance with ERISA, IRS, DOL, and Secure 2.0 requirements
Conduct annual nondiscrimination testing (ADP/ACP, Coverage, Top-Heavy, etc.)
Prepare and file Form 5500, Form 8955-SSA, and all related schedules
Process plan calculations including RMDs, vesting, eligibility, contributions, loans, and distributions
Maintain accurate plan and participant records with zero-tolerance for error
Review census files, payroll data, and trust reports for accuracy
Identify and resolve discrepancies or data inconsistencies promptly
Serve as a knowledgeable resource for sponsors, auditors, and participants
Communicate plan features and benefits clearly and professionally
Coordinate with investment professionals on plan investment monitoring
Utilize leading industry systems such as FIS Global, ftwilliam.com, ASC, and other compliance/recordkeeping tools
Apply regulatory knowledge to real-world scenarios with precision
Provide census, payroll, and plan data to actuarial partners
Support plan amendments, restatements, implementations, and terminations
Qualification
Required

Strong understanding of DC/DB plan structure, testing, and operational requirements
Proficiency with TPA industry software platforms
Exceptional attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines with professionalism
Comfortable working independently and collaborating within a team
TPA experience is required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, HR, or related field preferred
Certifications such as QKA, APA, or other ASPPA/NIPA designations strongly preferred
