The role involves providing CAD drafting services, document management support, and assisting engineers in various projects to enhance production efficiency.

Responsibilities

Provide layout and detailed drawings for Mechanical, Structural, Civil, and general engineering design
Distribution, filing and maintenance of all drawings and associated documents
Complete all company safety training
Assist engineer in planning and implementing projects to improve production efficiency
Assist others with special projects and presentations when requested

Qualification

Required

Mechanical or Civil Engineering student
Full-time availability for a nine month co-op opportunity
Microsoft Word and Excel experience required
Must have a valid driver's license with a demonstrated safe driving record
Completed a minimum of 2 years in an accredited engineering program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher

Preferred

Experience with Microsoft Access
Experience with Microsoft Project
Experience with Microsoft FrontPage
Experience with Autodesk ACAD
Experience with Autodesk Inventor
Experience with Visual Basic
Strong oral and written communication skills
Good organizing, planning and coordinating abilities
Creativity in creating new methods of displaying and presenting documentation
