Responsibilities
Perform clinical assay development and validation under the supervision of senior scientists and the scientific director
Performs laboratory experiments following established protocols and company procedures
Record results in company approved templates. Document other relevant experimental results
Interprets results of experiments and make recommendations for improvements. Identifies problems and investigates alternatives. Follows recommended course of action
Work with team members and other business units (operations, product transfer, project management, and quality departments) to meet department and project objectives
Works under general supervision, receiving instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and possible solutions. Assistance is furnished on unusual problems and work is reviewed for application of sound professional judgment
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of clinical laboratory experience
Minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience with an MS / MA degree
Preferred
HPLC and Mass spectrometry experience
Clinical assay validation experience
Fluent in Excel
Programming experience
