They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Thermal Infrastructure department, responsible for the design of thermal infrastructure systems and collaboration with a team of engineers on various projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare mechanical engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications, project schedules, and cost estimates to meet project requirements

Projects may include design of thermal distribution systems, campus master planning, district, and central utility plant design, building conversion design, and condition assessments

Provide technical guidance and quality oversight, including code review, of all project work

Provide technical training and development of staff

Assist in establishing and improving standards, practices, guidelines, and specifications

Act as Engineer of Record

Provide 'on-the-spot' advice and decisions - technical and cost estimates

Coordinate with all the disciplines involved, including outside consultants

Technical interface with code officials and contractors
