Responsibilities

Drive supplier engagement, negotiation, and selection to secure the highest quality thermal and mechanical components that align with Cisco’s stringent standards for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
Partner with Cisco's suppliers, engineers, product managers, and quality teams to drive innovation in thermal and mechanical solutions, integrating sourcing strategies that push technological boundaries while meeting product timelines and budgetary goals

Required

Strong expertise in the thermal industry with mechanical industry knowledge, able to understand relevant manufacturing processes and procedures
BA/BS degree or equivalent, with 5+ years of experience in a technical or commercial field
Executive-level influence: Experience working effectively with senior stakeholders and executive leadership to drive alignment and decision-making
High proficiency in negotiation, ensuring competitive advantage and high satisfaction for Cisco's customers

Preferred

Team-oriented and people-focused, with strong interpersonal skills to inspire collaboration and influence across diverse groups
Passionate about contributing fresh ideas, using data to inform decisions, taking initiative to learn, and adapting positively to change
