Responsibilities

Contribute to undergraduate and graduate instruction in materials-related areas

Develop innovative curriculum offerings that align with emerging workforce and industry needs

Build an externally funded research program aligned with regional and national priorities in advanced manufacturing, clean energy, mobility, and semiconductors

Conduct research in areas including glass sustainability, ceramics, bio ceramics, biomaterials, advanced composites, and machine learning applications in materials discovery

Required

Evidence of securing or contributing to externally funded research

Experience in high-demand areas, such as AI-driven materials, digital twins, additive manufacturing, semiconductors, glass technology, or nuclear materials

Demonstrated experience mentoring students and/or working with industry partners
