Internal Control Analyst

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day internal control activities related to third-party compliance
Apply risk management requirements to assess third parties participating in projects and engagements
Identify opportunities to enhance processes using automation, analytics, and workflow improvements
Provide input on stakeholder communications to support efficient data gathering and execution of TPC procedures
Collaborate with teams including Finance & Accounting, Risk Management, and other key support functions
Document all work performed with clear and auditable support for analyses and reconciliations
Maintain professionalism, integrity, and accountability to uphold a respectful work environment

Required

Strong analytical skills with the ability to review, reconcile, and perform complex calculations using large datasets across multiple systems
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis, reconciliation)
Must have hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer for data preparation, blending, and analysis
Experience supporting compliance with audit requirements and internal control frameworks
Ability to clearly document workflows, reconciliations, and results with complete audit trails
Familiarity with risk-based audit approaches, internal controls, and transaction categorization
Understanding of federal and commercial cost accounting practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder discussions, inquiry handling, and presenting findings
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and produce effective, accurate deliverables
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all work

Preferred

Experience in a Big Four or large professional services environment
