Responsibilities
Play a critical hands-on role in ensuring the highest quality and performance of cutting-edge cellular modem technologies
Work closely with platform architecture, firmware/protocol development, standardization, system test, and carrier engineering teams to diagnose, analyze, and optimize modem performance across LTE, 5G NR, and IoT systems
Span all layers of the protocol stack from PHY and RF to NAS, AS, IP, and TCP/UDP, giving exposure to the full modem lifecycle, including baseband and protocol optimization
Define, develop, and automate comprehensive test cases using industry-leading platforms
Leverage expertise in Python, AI/ML, and advanced debugging tools to solve complex technical challenges
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
Solid experience in wireless system testing, firmware validation, cellular certification, and IoT/cellular performance evaluation
Proven experience testing advanced modem features such as carrier aggregation, VoLTE/VoNR, MIMO, mobility procedures, ENDC CA, NRDC, FR1, and FR2, using industry-standard platforms (e.g., Keysight, Anritsu, R&S, Spirent)
Hands-on expertise in AI/ML concepts and their application to test optimization and large dataset analysis, using tools such as Pandas, TensorFlow, and PyTorch for data processing and visualization
Advanced skills in debugging and root cause analysis using various logging tools; demonstrated ability to troubleshoot modem issues across all protocol layers

Proficiency in diagnosing complex system-level issues through lab/field experimentation, analytics, and log analysis
