Responsibilities
Mows, trims, weeds, and edges grass
Cleans sidewalks and curbs in city and FDOT easements, rights-of-way, and medians
Prunes shrubs and trees
Pricks up debris to include but not limited to brush and litter
Performs routine maintenance on mowers and small engine equipment
Performs landscaping installation and maintenance
Performs irrigation installation, operation, and repair
Adheres to work schedule and attendance requirements
Adheres to all safety rules and regulations
Performs other duties as directed and required
Must create a positive public image as a representative of the city
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED obtained
Drive license required
Preferred
Two (2) years experience in landscaping and/or grounds maintenance or related field
Prior governmental experience
