Responsibilities

Teach part-time and remotely for Grades 6-8 Math

Seek reciprocity in other states with support from Elevate K-12

Build long-term relationships with students

Adapt to teaching classes that start throughout the semester

Commit to consistency in attendance as the teacher of record

Maintain professionalism in the classroom environment

Be flexible and think critically to ensure optimal student outcomes

Meet deadlines set by Elevate and the school calendar

Operate comfortably in a remote setting with a reliable internet connection

Required

An active, verifiable teaching certification in the United States for Math

Certified and experienced with teaching students in grades 6-8

Must physically reside in the United States during the 2025-2026 school year due to student information security requirements with our partner schools

A daily available time block of at least three consecutive hours, Monday through Friday, 8am - 4pm EST

Ability to work a part-time schedule of 10-20 hours per week during normal school hours

A laptop or desktop computer with a reliable high-speed internet connection
