Adjunct Faculty, Legal Studies (Environmental Law)

College of DuPage is committed to teaching and learning, seeking adjunct faculty members to teach Legal Studies (Environmental Law). The successful candidate will facilitate student success in a multicultural environment and may have a flexible teaching schedule.

Higher Education

Responsibilities

Course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings
Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats
Responsible for student evaluation
Timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction

Qualification

Juris Doctor degreeEnvironmental Law experienceTeaching experienceFacilitating group discussionsOnline teaching experienceWorking with paralegalsTechnology proficiency

Required

Minimum of a Juris Doctor degree is required
Must have experience working with paralegals
Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required
A pre-employment background check at the Colleges' expense is required

Preferred

2 years' experience practicing Environmental Law, preferred
Previous teaching experience and experience facilitating group discussions, preferred
Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred
