Strategic Account Manager

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding Quantiphi's footprint within key accounts in the utility and energy sector, leveraging your expertise to deliver AI and cloud transformation solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full sales cycle for utility-sector clients, from prospecting through contract negotiation, ensuring seamless execution of MSAs, SoWs, and commercial agreements
Build, strengthen, and expand executive-level relationships (C-Suite, VP, Director) across technology, business, and procurement functions within utility organizations
Develop and execute a strategic account growth plan, aligning Quantiphi’s solutions with client priorities and long-term business objectives
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities by positioning Quantiphi’s AI, machine learning, data analytics, and cloud capabilities specifically for the utilities industry
Shape Quantiphi’s utilities go-to-market strategy, including solution offerings, packaged accelerators, technical enablement, and market engagement programs
Influence strategic direction for utility clients by acting as a trusted partner and advising on emerging technologies, operational optimization, and industry innovation
Conduct collaborative ideation and strategy workshops with client stakeholders and internal teams to define problem statements, align on value, and design solution roadmaps
Deeply understand each client’s technology landscape, business drivers, growth plans, regulatory environment, and industry-specific challenges
Drive account expansion through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across product and service lines
Partner closely with internal Technology, Solution, and Delivery teams to ensure high-quality project execution, customer satisfaction, and long-term success
Develop compelling industry-specific narratives and solution visions tailored to executive audiences as well as operational teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Deep expertise in the utility industry, with experience working with leading insurance enterprises or solution providers
Proven track record in selling, delivering, and managing AI, data analytics, and cloud solutions (GCP, AWS, Azure, or Oracle) within the utility or energy space
Strong background in enterprise sales, account management, and business development
Experience managing contractual lifecycles, including negotiating MSAs, SoWs, and pricing models
Exceptional executive-level engagement skills with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships
Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage an account end-to-end, including sales, delivery oversight, and team coordination
Willingness to travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events — up to 50%

Familiarity with insurance-specific AI applications like predictive maintenance, network optimization, customer service automation, and fraud detection
Working knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, GPT models) and cloud-based AI solutions (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure)
Awareness of AI governance, ethics, and data privacy regulations, especially in utilities
