They are seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of experience in commercial and/or general civil litigation to join their growing litigation team, focusing on client representation and case management.

Law Practice

Responsibilities

Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitration, and mediation

Draft and argue motions, including dispositive and procedural motions

Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and briefs

Attend court conferences, assist with depositions, and participate in settlement discussions

Manage a varied caseload under the guidance of senior attorneys

Handle discovery processes, including document review and production

Support case strategy development and collaborate closely with partners and clients

Participate in practice group meetings, firm-wide training programs and initiatives

Build strong relationships with clients through consistent communication and service delivery

Qualification

Required

2–3 years of commercial or civil litigation experience

J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in New York State

Excellent writing, research, and oral advocacy skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage deadlines and juggle multiple matters

Preferred

Appellate, creditors' rights, family law, or labor & employment experience is a plus
