Consulting Strategist

Responsibilities
For assigned clients, collaborate with team to execute HUB’s Employee Benefits strategic initiatives to align with business objectives and client outcomes
Oversee and guide client management teams in implementing multi-year benefits strategies to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
Ensure Consultants, Client Managers, and teams develop detailed project plans, timelines, and communication frameworks that guide clients and internal stakeholders
Hold teams and partners accountable for meeting project scope, timelines, and deliverables as defined in statements of work
Collaborate with team to ensure client deliverables including employee communications, open enrollment materials, and benefit program documentation are executed and met
Facilitate communication between internal teams, vendors, and clients to maintain clarity, accountability, and momentum
Track and report project performance, risks, and outcomes to maintain transparency and ensure proactive issue resolution
Anticipate risks and opportunities by forecasting needs, adjusting project scope, and reallocating resources as required
Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key vendor partners to enhance service delivery and solution integration Identify, analyze, and recommend process improvements to address project challenges, mitigate risks, and strengthen delivery efficiency
Promote a culture of excellence by coaching Consultants and Client Managers on best practices, continuous improvement, and project discipline
Support and collaborate with teams to develop and pursue identified sales opportunities within defined market segments and specialties
Direct and monitor key project management activities, identifying priorities, assigning ownership, and ensuring on-time completion of milestones
Qualification
Required
Requires minimum of 5 plus years of experience in an employee benefits consulting role
State Life, Accident, and Health License required
College Degree
Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and delegate effectively
Proven project leadership experience in employee benefits or related consulting environments
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive-level clients
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail
High energy, self-starter mindset with a focus on results and accountability
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
