Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of the manufacturing facility, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime
Coordinate with production teams to ensure facility readiness and support for manufacturing processes
Lead facility-related projects such as expansions, renovations, and equipment installations
Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines; manage contractors and vendors
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA)
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks
Develop and manage the facilities budget, including utilities, maintenance, and capital expenditures
Identify cost-saving opportunities through energy efficiency and process improvements
Supervise and develop a team of specialists and technicians
Provide training, performance evaluations, and support for career development
Manage relationships with external service providers and contractors
Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Facilities Management, or a related field
5+ years of experience in facilities management within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory compliance
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
10+ years of experience in facilities management within a manufacturing environment
Experience planning and maintaining facility budgets
Experience managing facility systems such as HVAC and Electrical distribution in a manufacturing setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and facility management software
Experience with energy management systems
