Development and Research Senior Associate
The Honorable Tina Brozman Foundation for Ovarian Cancer Research is dedicated to funding scientific research for ovarian cancer detection and prevention. The Development & Research Senior Associate will identify and qualify new prospects to enhance fundraising efforts and support the organization's mission.
Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth prospect research to identify, analyze and develop comprehensive profiles on high-net-worth individuals, family foundations, and institutional funders, providing critical insight for major gift cultivation and long-term donor relationships
Identify and qualify new foundation prospects aligned with the Tina’s Wish mission and research priorities, helping to expand and strengthen the organization’s pipeline of mission-driven supporters
Maintain accurate and organized prospect and donor data in the Foundation’s CRM platform, ensuring records support strategic moves-management and informed cultivation strategies
Collaborate closely with the Events Team and Executive Director to track progress, analyze trends, and inform data-driven strategies that enhance donor engagement and guide fundraising priorities
Prepare concise research summaries, briefings, and strategic recommendations that equip leadership and board members to engage effectively with prospective donors and make informed decisions
Transform research into actionable insights, supporting major gift efforts and enabling the organization to focus cultivation and solicitation on high-potential opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
2-4 years of relevant nonprofit or fundraising experience
Proficiency with donor research tools and CRM platforms (e.g., eTapestry, iWave) for moves-management, prospect identification, tracking, and reporting
Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills; ability to synthesize research into actionable insights and meet multi-step project deadlines
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to engage professionally with leadership, board members, and donors
Detail-oriented, able to multitask, take initiative, and solve problems independently
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Passion for the Tina's Wish mission and commitment to inspiring donor engagement
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship
At time of hire, employees must live within a daily commutable distance of Manhattan due to hybrid work schedule
