Customer Service Specialist

The Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for resolving customer queries, managing orders, and supporting key accounts to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Enters Customer Orders and addresses price discrepancies/contract issues
Enters credit memos and coordinates return authorizations with minimal support
Enters Customer Complaints/Feedback in ITS and proactively collects additional data needed for investigation of complaint
Proactively reaches out to customers to secure orders
Manages Customer Portals
Responsible for key account transactions and participates in meetings with assigned key accounts and account manager
Supports Key Accounts and Account Managers with opportunity for limited face to face customer visits
Management of conflict resolution (autonomous)
Communication and Management of delays with customer/planning/logistics (rescheduling/re-planning critical loads)
Demonstrates fundamental level of contracting concepts such as balances, sales forecasting
Assists with training new customer support team members
Ability to manage on-boarding of new customer account relationships collaboration with sales account managers
Qualification
Required
Requires BA degree or equivalent work experience
Requires a minimum of 5 years of Customer Service experience in a similar industry or other relatable experience in inside sales, sales support
Ability to handle escalations, responds independently and provides recommendations to improve operational efficiencies
Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks
