Responsibilities

Serve as the customer interface at meetings, tests, and reviews to develop operations plans, design missions, and verify payload flightworthiness
Ensure contract deliverables are completed on-time and per customer expectations, distill customer requirements into actionable development objectives
Work with all internal and external stakeholders to drive operational system development. Collaborate with subsystem representatives across team boundaries to consider all necessary trades and ensure end-to-end mission success
Support all phases of the program from development, initial proposal, through successful test, flight, and on-orbit commissioning. This will include educating the customer on our designs and methodologies

Required

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
5+ years of experience working in the aerospace or space industry
5+ years of technical project management and system-level engineering experience
Experience working with launch vehicles, spacecraft, or other aerospace systems
This position requires successfully obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret Security Clearance as a condition of employment
Must pass DoD level background checks for entry into various government facilities
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Preferred

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and deliver reliable and expeditious results across multiple parallel priorities
Highly detail-oriented, hardworking, and professional with excellent written and verbal technical communication skills
Spacecraft mission design, development, integration, and/or test experience
Strong penchant for innovation in process improvement and system design
Positive, “can-do” attitude, self-starter, and ability to work in a high pace dynamic environment
Strong analytical, verbal, and written skills
