Responsibilities
Empower students with academic support based on the New Jersey curriculum
Develop customized learning plans that help students truly understand the material, not just memorize it
Offer remedial and enrichment opportunities to help students who need extra support—or a challenge to stretch them further
Collaborate with parents to keep them in the loop on progress, struggles, and successes
Qualification
Required
You hold a current, valid registration with the New Jersey Department of Education
You're a qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of becoming one)
You're a current teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education
You have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university
You are a subject matter expert (you have a Master's or PhD)
