Responsibilities
Review, research, and process member requests, providing detailed information regarding retirement eligibility, benefit options, and account activity
Interpret and explain TMRS statute, rules, and policies clearly to members and city representatives
Provide exceptional customer service through phone, written correspondence, and in-person interactions with both internal and external stakeholders
Respond to complex or escalated inquiries from members, retirees, beneficiaries, and participating cities
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to communicate information and processes in a way that is easily understood
Skill in reviewing documentation and properly applying statute, rules, policies and procedures
Attention to detail and the ability to accurately complete work in a high-volume environment
Ability to navigate various information technologies
Effectively identify solutions using problem solving skills
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree
