Epic Dorothy Home Health & Hospice Billing Implementation Analyst
Shyft6 is seeking an experienced Epic Home Health & Hospice Billing Implementation Analyst to support a large-scale Epic implementation. This role will be responsible for the design, build, testing, and deployment of Epic Home Health and Hospice billing workflows, ensuring accurate charge capture and compliant billing.

Responsibilities
Lead design, build, and implementation of Epic Home Health & Hospice billing workflows
Configure and support billing-related components including:
Charge capture and charge routing
Claims generation and submission
Billing edits and workqueues
Payer-specific billing rules and reimbursement logic
Collaborate with clinical, operational, and revenue cycle stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Epic build
Support integration points between Home Health/Hospice billing and:
Professional and Hospital Billing
General Ledger and downstream financial systems
Develop and execute unit testing, integrated testing, and end-user acceptance testing (UAT)
Create and maintain build documentation, workflow diagrams, and training materials
Support go-live planning, cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization
Troubleshoot and resolve billing issues, defects, and workflow gaps during and after go-live
Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer billing regulations for post-acute services
Qualification
Required
5+ years of Epic application experience, with a focus on Home Health and/or Hospice billing
Hands-on Epic build experience supporting billing and revenue workflows
Strong understanding of post-acute care billing concepts, including: Medicare Home Health Prospective Payment System (PPS), Hospice billing and reimbursement structures, Claims lifecycle and remittance processing
Experience participating in at least one full Epic implementation (design through go-live)
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Preferred
Epic certification or proficiency in Home Health, Hospice, or related Revenue Cycle modules
Experience supporting integrated health systems with multiple care settings
Prior go-live and post-go-live stabilization support experience
Experience working with compliance, finance, and revenue integrity teams
