They are seeking an Aircraft Inspector who will be responsible for visually inspecting in-process and completed products, ensuring quality control through various measuring devices and documentation of non-conforming materials.

Responsibilities

Uses predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in-process and completed products such as electronic units, subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies, mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds

Utilizes various measuring devices to accept or reject defective or malfunctioning units or systems. Works from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawings, inspection instructions, and checklists

May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Performs line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed

Working from drawings/CATIA, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements, software programs, and test procedures to inspect parts and assemblies, including processes and materials

Dimensionally inspecting parts or assemblies

Initiating and documenting any non-conforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures

Inspecting vendor, subcontractor, or company parts and assemblies

Following a pre-determined sequence of work

Preparing and maintaining quality records

Supporting continuous product flow in the manufacturing process through cross-training and assisting other employees, including cross-training in Assembly Technician functions
