Recommend and enforce coding standards and quality gates (tests, linting, type safety, performance budgets); complete design reviews and code reviews
Balance feature delivery with technical debt management; make trade-offs explicit and plan repayments
Ship high-quality web apps using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js/Express, and REST/GraphQL APIs; integrate with headless CMS

Partner with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, IaC, monitoring, and SLOs; drive incident response and root-cause analysis
Proactively recommend innovative solutions for solving problems based on industry standards, guidelines, and recommendations in the financial industry

Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Security, and Data teams
Foster a culture of craftsmanship, learning, and psychological safety
Mentor the development team and help to grow and evolve their technical skills
Use and coach others on AI-assisted coding tools responsibly to accelerate routine tasks and improve test coverage while maintaining human oversight
