Responsibilities

Lead all phases of healthcare construction projects, from preconstruction and buyout through turnover and closeout
Oversee project schedules, budgets, scopes, and quality standards, ensuring delivery within all project goals and constraints
Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, consultants, and key stakeholders
Supervise and mentor project team members, including project managers, assistant PMs, and superintendents
Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and progress reports
Oversee risk management strategies, with a strong focus on infection control (ICRA), interim life safety, and healthcare-specific compliance
Coordinate with internal departments (preconstruction, safety, accounting) to support successful execution
Lead project meetings, track key action items, and provide timely project updates to executive leadership and clients
Ensure jobsite safety, quality control, and adherence to applicable healthcare construction regulations and guidelines

Required

Bachelor's degree in construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
10+ years of commercial construction experience, with 5+ years specifically in healthcare construction (hospitals, surgical centers, clinics, MOBs)
Strong knowledge of healthcare codes, ICRA protocols, medical equipment coordination, and complex MEP systems
Proven track record of delivering large, complex projects on time and within budget
Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skill
Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and healthcare-specific documentation
