Responsibilities

Conduct basic visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products
Maintain a positive and professional presence while representing quality assurance with production teams
Verify conformance to specifications using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Document inspection results and any defects / non-conformances detected
Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics at a basic level
Follow company procedures to perform routine quality checks
Maintain inspection records and files for traceability and compliance
Ensure that inspection equipment is calibrated and properly maintained before use
Assist with the identification of non-conforming products and initiate corrective actions under supervision
Work with production teams to identify potential areas for improvement and support quality improvement initiatives
Participate in routine training to develop knowledge of quality systems and inspection techniques

Required

High School diploma or GED
Strong math skills to work with fractions and decimals in the imperial and metric measurement systems
Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects
Good communication skills to document and report inspection results
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow instructions and company procedures
Average skill in Microsoft Office, entering data accurately and repeatably

Preferred

Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is a plus, but not required
