Scholar Experience Coordinator
Uplift Education is dedicated to creating public schools of excellence. The Scholar Experience Coordinator will collaborate with the Scholar Experience Manager and Director to plan and execute scholar experience events across the network, focusing on coordination and evaluation of these initiatives.

Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and execution of Uplift’s network-wide primary, middle, and high school scholar experience projects and events
Build solid relationships with campus leadership and grade level personnel across Uplift campuses to ensure seamless planning and execution of scholar experience events and initiatives
Keep up-to-date records on preferred venues, food, promotional items, and A/V vendors
Assist in the preparation and execution of action and communication plans for all network-wide scholar experiences and initiatives
Recruit and train volunteers for each event
Assist with coordinating details of assigned events, which are not limited to the following:
Maintaining accurate and fluid event details and scholar databases per assigned experiences
Coordinates all food services, A/V needs, facility arrangements, and transportation for assigned experiences
Responsible for supplying the Communications and Marketing team with experience information for assigned projects, which supports efforts in promoting the Uplift network
Track event metrics (attendance, satisfaction, and budget performance) and provide post-event reports with recommendations for improvements
Support Communications with capturing event photographs during events to enhance visibility and family/community engagement
Assist the Director of Events and Scholar Experience with duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree required. Relevant work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
Minimum 3 years in a similar position, with event planning/ coordination experience preferred
Proven experience in planning and executing scholar experiences in a K-12 environment, with emphasis on secondary-aged students
Experienced in research and analysis/comparison of event spaces, contract negotiation skills
Possess the ability to maintain and operate within the constraints of an event budget
Ability to utilize best practices and make sound decisions when executing events
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking
Ability to communicate effectively with poise and professionalism at all levels, including but not limited to Uplift staff, faculty, parents, vendors, and other volunteers
Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook), Adobe products, and ability to learn and use computer software as necessary
Proficient in database management and able to use basic office equipment
Preferred
Experience in a K-12 environment, with emphasis on secondary-aged students
Prior non-profit or education experience is a plus
Bilingual Skills Preferred, but not required
