Account Manager, Prime Services
Selby Jennings is a leading international bank with a strong presence across major financial hubs, and they are seeking an Account Manager for their Client Solutions team. The role focuses on managing client relationships post-onboarding, driving growth, and ensuring client satisfaction through collaboration with internal teams.
Responsibilities
Serve as the main relationship manager for clients post-onboarding
Drive relationship growth and identify revenue opportunities over time
Communicate new functionality and product enhancements to clients
Act as the voice of the client, advocating for process improvements and system enhancements
Manage escalations and ensure swift resolution of client queries
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Operations, IT, Legal, Credit) to deliver seamless service
Perform portfolio analysis to calculate margin and fee requirements
Support regional and global initiatives to improve client experience
Qualification
Required
1-8 years in account management or client servicing within financial services
Strong commercial mindset and ability to manage senior client stakeholders
Familiarity with trade workflows, reporting requirements, and margin frameworks
Preferred
Background in prime services and related products
Derivatives knowledge (FX, rates, futures) is a plus but not mandatory
Open to candidates from equities side for AM role
