Responsibilities

Performing subcontracting or paralegal functions in support of; Construction, Mechanical Equipment, Excavation, General Services, etc. in the Federal Contracting environment
Perform assignments of varying scope and of moderate complexity following established policies and procedures
Ability to work in a Team Environment with shifting priorities that may include extended hours, (As Needed & Approved), to support project schedules
With the guidance of senior staff, responsible for cradle to grave procurement administration of federal and/or commercial construction related procurement actions; review requisitions, prepare RFPs, conduct bid abstracts, conduct negotiations, prepare purchase orders and subcontracts and administer complex services-type subcontracts
Ability to be 'Proactive' and 'Forward Looking' when developing and administering subcontracts
With oversight of senior staff, support proposal preparation activities to clients

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related discipline with 5 or more years of relevant experience - OR- 10 years' relevant experience and High School Diploma/GED in lieu of Bachelor's is acceptable
Contracts experience
USA citizenship is required (to comply with government customer requirements and/or applicable government regulations)
Strong Computer skills: Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook
Above average writing skills need to be logical and succinct

Preferred

Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) experience
Familiarity with federal and commercial procurement guidelines and regulations
Industrial Construction experience is desired
Some paralegal experience could be helpful
Experience administering large complex Federal Construction type contracts
Previous legal contracts experience
