Responsibilities
Perform various technical analyses, typically related to disputes, and present our findings in visual presentations and expert reports for mediation, dispute resolution boards, arbitration panels, and in court for judges and juries
Assist in contemporaneous and after-the-fact evaluations of Design and Construction Deficiencies and Defects, Water Infiltration and Intrusion, Standard of Care (of Architect, Engineer, and Contractor), project close-out, change order entitlement, punch list and inspection content, evaluation of defective work and remedial repair protocols, among others
Perform schedule and cost implications of these evaluations in tandem with Ankura’s cost and schedule expertise, when required
Provide expert advice and independent professional opinions
Develop practical solutions as well as robust liability and entitlement analysis, delay and cost/quantum analysis
Present conclusions in a clear, concise, and objective manner - and provide testimony in a wide variety of venues, including specialized regulatory boards
Identify risks and practical, experienced, and actionable mitigation tactics associated with their capital projects
Provide sophisticated advice on some of the world’s most complex and largest capital projects, analyzing prospective and in-process development as well as assurance reviews for conformance with the time, cost, and quality objectives for project stakeholders
Qualification
Required
A NCARB-certified Architect
Licensed in more than one state
Experience Testifying
Ability to generate Revenue for a global leader in the advisory and disputes space
