Responsibilities

Create and/or implement a daily operations plan using complex software and hardware systems; apply command and control tasks and activities

Obtain/maintain technical knowledge of a large repository of formal procedures with the responsibility to accurately select and apply the correct procedure(s) depending on the specific scenario at hand

Obtain/apply technical knowledge on various hardware subsystems

Document discrepancies as they occur. Implement workarounds and contingency plans to minimize impacts of system anomalies

Contribute to the testing, readiness, training, and implementation of new ground software deliveries

Cross-train in other operator positions as assigned and assist with training of other personnel on the contract team

Lead interactions and support all missions to include the initialization of new missions

Work program level priorities to implement process improvements relevant to the mission supported

Periodic travel required to interact personnel from various sites and factories

Work in an adaptable small team environment (3-7 people)

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior related engineering experience or equivalent experience

Experience with training and certify in operational position

An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance

Experience and proficient use of both Windows and UNIX platforms

Experience with Perl, Python, VBA, and/or other scripting languages
