The Machine Operator will operate, troubleshoot, and maintain packaging equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and quality at their Dover, DE manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities
Operate, start up, change over, and shut down packaging machinery and related equipment
Perform quality checks (fill, seal, print alignment, weight) and record sample results
Supply and replace packaging materials; replace parts such as Teflon liners and suction cups
Troubleshoot and adjust equipment settings to maintain quality and efficiency
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and comply with all safety and sanitation standards
Participate in QCD meetings and support preventative maintenance programs
Train additional personnel and perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to read and perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
Basic computer literacy and strong communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
Preferred
Previous experience in industrial operations or packaging preferred
Forklift certification or ability to become certified
