Macro Sales – Research & Data
F&L Search is a leading independent research and data firm serving the global investment community, and they are seeking a Macro Sales professional in New York. The role involves new client acquisition and selling subscription research and data products to institutional investors, focusing on building relationships and closing business with hedge funds and asset managers.
Responsibilities
Generating and managing a pipeline of new buy-side clients
Leading the full sales cycle — from prospecting to negotiation and close
Presenting the firm’s research and data solutions with confidence and commercial insight
Building a strong understanding of how investors use research, flows, and data in their process
Collaborating closely with research and product teams to align client needs with delivery
Qualification
Required
3–7 years' experience in institutional or data-driven sales
Exposure to buy-side clients (hedge funds, asset managers, family offices)
Proven success in new business generation and closing ARR revenue
Strong communication and negotiation skills
A proactive, metrics-driven mindset and comfort in a fast-paced environment
