Mainspring Energy is revolutionizing power generation with innovative technology and is seeking an Apprentice Upgrade Technician to join their Upgrades team. This role involves building and assembling components for generators, applying engineering changes, and performing planned maintenance while collaborating with a talented team to support clean energy initiatives.

Responsibilities

Build components and assemblies that make up our Cores, install components and replace parts as needed to support the Upgrade Process
Collaborate with other technicians and support teams to fix, repair, and rebuild components and assemblies focusing on manufacturability and reliability in order to meet the testing and qualification schedule of new designs
Work with a quick-learning build team to support ongoing Customer Support activities
Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality and productivity in the Upgrade process
Ability to select the best course of action from a set of defined procedures/solutions and occasionally troubleshoot or fact find to resolve with oversight from senior team members
