Responsibilities
Design, create, maintain, and implement end-to-end test scenarios / cases for current projects ensuring extensive test coverage of critical business flows with all upstream & downstream touch points
Design, develop, Integrate, and execute automation suites of critical business end-to-end flows for reusability and quicker response to post-production issue testing
Understand business requirements, application functionality, release scope, and system integration specifics
Identify & resolve defects and improve the overall software testing process
Know the latest with new software testing methodologies, tools, and technologies
Understand and apply industry-specific guidelines & standards
Understand and articulate the business and the value adds
Play an active role in translating business and functional requirements into concrete results
Coordinate with testing partners for cross-application and cross-business testing scenarios
Qualification
Required
Min 6 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, and/or a related field
Minimum 6 years hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools
Must have experience in Python, Great Expectations or similar framework for data engineering project tests
Strong experience in writing SQL test cases for manual testing and automating the SQL through testing tools
Experience in comparing data between two discrete data sources using a tool or excel
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Preferred
Preferred experience with Selenium and Java based testing framework for data engineering projects
Experience in testing process in ETL tools like Talend or similar is a plus
