John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator who will serve as the first point of contact for employees, providing comprehensive HR support. The role involves handling employee relations, performing administrative duties, and assisting with various HR functions to promote employee engagement and compliance.

Responsibilities

Handles employee relations questions and issues at the HR front desk. Documents conversations and communicates concerns to the HR Manager. Acts as liaison with operations supervisors and managers for follow-up. Forwards concerns to payroll, benefits, or safety for specialized resolution

Performs general administrative duties, including maintaining data integrity in HR systems, managing uniform and safety shoe orders, and completing other administrative tasks as needed

Assists with special projects and reporting to support HR, payroll, benefits, recruitment, and safety initiatives

Conducts floor walks to promote employee engagement and address employee relations matters, including operational support and investigations

Manages security access software to create badges for employees, temporary staff, and contractors

Oversees I-9 and work authorization compliance for new hires and existing employees
