UIC Commercial Services is seeking a Project Manager for a recently awarded contract in Patuxent River, MD. The Project Manager will analyze and coordinate the schedule, procurement, staffing, and budget of this contract while leading the administrative staff and serving as a point of contact for the client.

Responsibilities

Ensure project procedures and controls are followed, manage manning and staffing project efforts, and lead problem resolution efforts

Interfaces with system or program contractors, vendors, and Government representatives regarding the technical aspects of the programs/projects

Must have experience supporting senior Navy and DoD leadership liaison operations, providing facilities management

Analyze and coordinate the schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget of a product or service

Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management

Lead and guide the work of administrative staff

May serve as a point of contact for the client or customer

Required

BS or BA degree in Business Administration, Management or other 'Relevant Technical Discipline'

An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS or an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS

At least 5 years' experience, with at least 2 years of supervisory/lead experience required

Experience performing complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, communication techniques, models, and/or systems related to management problems for the corporate operations for a major Legislative or Department of Defense (DoD) Echelon Command / Secretariat

Demonstrated knowledge of management and operations of Department of Navy Systems Commands

Must be proficient with Microsoft Sharepoint and the standard Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level

US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location
