Postdoctoral Research Fellow – Cardiac Organoids, Stem Cell Biology, and Cardiovascular Disease Modeling

The Fonoudi Laboratory in the Department of Pediatrics is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to work on developing advanced human cardiac organoid systems and to engage in cutting-edge research in stem cell biology and cardiovascular modeling.

Responsibilities
Develop advanced human cardiac organoid systems to uncover the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying congenital and acquired cardiovascular diseases
Lead high-impact research projects
Contribute to manuscripts in top-tier journals
Develop an independent scientific vision within a highly collaborative environment
Qualification
Required
PhD or MD/PhD in stem cell biology, developmental biology, bioengineering, cardiovascular biology, or a related field
Strong track record of research productivity
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Experience with iPSCs, organoids, 3D bioprinting, CRISPR-based genome editing or cardiac biology is highly desirable
