Responsibilities

Prepare pricing models to evaluate the economics of aircraft purchases, sales and remarketing
Prepare maintenance models to evaluate the current and expected condition of aircraft and summarize the maintenance inflows, outflows and unsecured risk profiles
Evaluate and document commercial terms, unique features and risk profiles
Maintain comp data for all purchases, sales and remarketing transactions
Assist pricing team with proposals, LOIs, approval documents, etc
Develop and maintain financial models to support Aircastle’s strategic decisions
Provide assistance with research in regard to aircraft types, airline commitments, and industry activity
Coordinate with accounting, finance, and technical to identify efficient processes to cross-reference pricing and maintenance assumptions
Assist accounting team with recoverability analysis
Assist on ad-hoc projects as needed
Support all departments with analytical support as necessary

Required

BA/BS degree in Finance, Aviation or related business field
2-4 years total work experience with focus on complex financial modeling / analytics
Aviation industry experience is required
Advanced modeling and excel skills
Knowledge of aviation industry and aircraft specifics is a plus
Ability to evaluate and interpret lease contracts
Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve complex financial issues
Strong oral and communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to build solid relationships with colleagues and executive management
Must be able to work in the Stamford office three times per week
