Responsibilities

Work with project teams to create civil engineering site development designs

Develop permitting and construction plans

Prepare municipal zoning and land development applications for private and public sector clients

Design site layouts, site grading, erosion and sedimentation controls, stormwater management facilities, and site utilities

Interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials throughout the project phases

Plan and execute projects in collaboration with Project Managers and Principals

Communicate with clients and develop new client opportunities

Mentor junior staff on technical items

Coordinate with other practices to address project-specific needs

Attend industry organization and client meetings

Qualification

Civil Engineering degreeEIT certificationAutoCAD Civil 3DHydroCADStorm SewersMentoring junior staff

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

5+ years of professional engineering experience

Proficiency in computer modeling software, including: AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Storm Sewers

Ability and desire to mentor junior staff

Preferred

Masters degree

EIT certification or P.E. license
