Responsibilities
Own and manage all communication streams between the organization and NRC/regulatory officials
Coordinate and oversee stakeholder actions, including internal science teams and external technical consultants, ensuring consistent progress on licensing deliverables
Provide technical due diligence and advisory on proposed plans, including Quality Assurance and Safety Analysis
Monitor and review progress of external partners developing licensing documentation and quality plans
Engage formally with NRC and other regulatory bodies to maintain alignment and compliance throughout the licensing process
Qualification
Required
Broad experience in nuclear licensing and regulatory compliance, including familiarity with NRC frameworks such as Part 70, Part 50, or Part 52
Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments, interpret requirements, and implement strategies that meet federal and state standards
Strong communication and leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and large-scale projects
Ability to build productive relationships with government agencies and external stakeholders while driving projects forward under tight timelines
Preferred
Background in nuclear technology, industrial operations, or regulatory affairs is highly desirable
