Skyline Recruitment is partnering with a leading global climate and performance engineering consulting firm to recruit a Senior Field Technician – Air Quality & Emissions. In this role, you will lead complex source emissions testing programs, manage field deployments, and provide technical support to clients while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and conduct on-site stack testing and source emissions monitoring in accordance with federal and regional regulatory standards (e.g., EPA Reference Methods, ECCC)
Plan, organize, and manage field deployments, including crew logistics, equipment readiness, and safety protocols
Analyze emissions data and ensure strict QA/QC procedures are performed throughout testing and reporting
Serve as a technical point of contact for clients, regulators, and internal teams to communicate project scope, progress, and results
Mentor and supervise junior field technicians, providing training and oversight
Troubleshoot and maintain analytical and sampling equipment to ensure accurate and reliable performance
Support project scoping, scheduling, and budgeting activities
Prepare high-quality technical documentation, including regulatory submissions, emissions reports, and field summaries
Stay current with emerging environmental regulations, best practices, and industry trends

Required

Post-secondary education in Environmental Technology, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in air quality, emissions testing, or source monitoring
Strong technical, analytical, and hands-on equipment skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and team members
Ability to work independently in fast-paced field environments
Willingness to travel and work outdoors, including evenings, weekends, and various weather conditions
Legally eligible to work in the United States; valid driver's license required

Preferred

Ambient air monitoring experience is an asset
Previous field or site experience strongly preferred
