Responsibilities
Lead client tax engagements from start to finish
Utilize prior technical experience to help clients navigate tax compliance requirements
Manage client’s tax deadlines and filing requirements
Analyze billing/collections related to client engagement
Coach and mentor junior associates
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 5 years of relevant tax experience at a public accounting firm (preferably a Big 4, national, regional, or large local firm)
Experience serving public charities and other tax-exempt organizations filing Form 990 and related schedules
Experience with unrelated business taxable income (UBTI), for-profit subsidiaries, supporting organizations and other affiliated entities
CPA certification
Excellent research skills
Strong written and verbal communications and people skills
Excellent technology, project management and presentation skills
Preferred
Advanced degree in taxation
