Responsibilities
Develop AI roadmaps and solution architectures tailored for nonprofit use cases (fundraising optimization, volunteer engagement, automation, impact measurement, etc.)
Assess organizational readiness and translate nonprofit challenges into AI-driven solutions
Lead the design of scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AI systems (LLMs, MLOps, data pipelines, automation flows)
Architect and guide the implementation of AI/ML models, NLP/LLM applications, automation workflows, predictive analytics, and decision-support systems
Oversee data preparation, feature engineering, integration with CRM/ERP/NPSP platforms
Work closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality AI products
Partner directly with nonprofit leaders to educate, inspire, and demonstrate the impact of AI
Conduct workshops, discovery sessions, and proof-of-concepts to build stakeholder confidence
Promote ethical, responsible AI practices tailored for mission-driven organizations
Advise on data governance, security, compliance, and best practices
Work cross-functionally across product, engineering, and program teams to align technical solutions with mission goals
Contribute to organizational thought leadership in AI for social good
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, AI/ML Engineering, or Advanced Data/Cloud Architecture
Hands-on expertise with LLMs, GenAI, NLP, ML platforms, vector databases, and cloud AI services (Azure/OpenAI, AWS, GCP)
Strong experience designing integrations, APIs, MLOps, and scalable AI architectures
Ability to communicate complex AI concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Deep empathy, customer-centric mindset, and desire to help organizations grow
A mindset of service, humility, and giving—looking to make meaningful impact through technology
