Responsibilities

Serve as the functional lead providing technical and process expertise, with a strong emphasis on ETO workflows, driving solution and process standardization across SAP SD and integrated platforms
Partner with Product Owners and Managers to define scope, confirm required customizations, and identify value drivers; advise on design decisions and ensure alignment with business objectives, particularly for complex ETO scenarios
Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams to shape the Solution Roadmap and Architecture Runway, ensuring integration with Finance, Logistics, Project Systems (including ETO), Supply Chain, and third-party systems
Lead and support Agile delivery teams through sprint planning, execution, and backlog management; ensure timely delivery of user stories and resolution of defects, with special attention to ETO-specific requirements
Oversee development, testing, and end-to-end process validation; define test scope and ensure coverage for ETO-driven manufacturing scenarios, including custom engineering and project-based production
Drive risk mitigation, clear impediments, and provide guidance to maintain alignment with program vision and standards
Coordinate cross-functional activities including stakeholder engagement, change management, and execution of comprehensive cutover plans for business and technical readiness
Promote innovation and problem-solving to minimize customizations while meeting user needs; foster collaboration and continuous improvement across distributed teams
Actively participate in program ceremonies such as PI Planning and backlog grooming to maintain transparency and alignment

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 8 years as a technology/functional consultant in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), Pricing & Contracts, and Logistics Execution
Proven leadership in multiple complex ERP implementation projects and large-scale business transformation programs leveraging SAP technologies, including at least one full end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation in a discrete manufacturing environment
Mandatory hands-on experience with Engineered-to-Order (ETO) processes in discrete manufacturing, including solution design and execution for highly customized, project-based production
Strong knowledge of order management in Sales and Distribution and SAP project execution capabilities, including industry-leading practices and technologies for ETO environments
Multi-platform experience with SAP SD/OTC capabilities and integrations with Finance, Logistics, Project System (PS)—including complex ETO—and Supply Chain Management
Hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience; capable of designing, building, and implementing solutions for ETO scenarios
Experience designing and developing integrations using SAP PI, SAP PO, SAP CPI, MuleSoft, and other middleware tools for third-party system connectivity
Ability to provide configuration and analysis support for SAP Variant Configuration (VC) module, including classes, characteristics, tables, dependencies, profiles, and super BOMs/Routings for ETO products
Strong knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and SAP implementation methodologies
Understanding of Agile principles and frameworks (Scrum and/or Kanban)
Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills with ability to manage large work efforts and coordinate distributed teams
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to influence and drive process standardization
Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities in complex environments

Preferred

Experience with related manufacturing models such as Make-to-Order (MTO), Configure-to-Order (CTO), and Make-to-Stock (MTS) is a plus
SAFe experience highly desired
